Who this is

Seneschal is operated by Seneschal HQ LLC, a Washington limited liability company based in Arlington, Washington. Seneschal HQ LLC decides what is collected and what happens to it, and is the company you are dealing with when you use Seneschal or pay for it.

The short version

Seneschal reads your work mailbox so it can do its job. It does not sell anything about you or your clients to anybody, ever. You can delete your account yourself at any time, and have your data exported by asking.

What Seneschal accesses

When you connect your work mailbox, Seneschal is granted access to read and organize your mail, your contacts, and your calendar, and to send mail that you have written or approved. Seneschal connects to mailboxes hosted by Microsoft and to Google mailboxes, including Gmail. That access is granted through Microsoft or Google, is controlled by you and your brokerage, and can be withdrawn by either of you at any time.

Seneschal never receives or stores your Microsoft or Google password. What it holds is a permission covering your mailbox only. It cannot sign in as you, and you can cancel it yourself from your Microsoft or Google account at any time.

Reading your phone's text and call backups is a separate, optional permission to your Google Drive. Seneschal does not ask for it when you connect your mailbox, and asks only if you choose to turn that feature on. Nothing else uses it.

Seneschal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: your Gmail, calendar, contacts and Google Drive data is used only to provide the features described here. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models. No person at Seneschal reads your mail, except where you ask us to for support, where security or the law requires it, or where the data is aggregated and anonymised.

What Seneschal never does

It does not sell your data. It does not sell leads to you or about you. It does not share your contacts with other users. It does not use your client information to build products for other people. It does not send email as you without you approving it.

Your clients' information

The contacts and correspondence you bring in are yours, not Seneschal's. Seneschal holds them on your behalf and works on them only as you direct. The full policy sets out how long they are kept and how to have them removed.

Your choices

Ask for an export of your data and you get one. You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from Settings, and it is gone; ask me instead if you would rather. Disconnect Seneschal from your Microsoft or Google account at any time, either in Seneschal's settings or from that account's own security page, and it immediately loses access.
